Which airline may I fly?
Members are permitted to fly any of our airlines from day one. Crew base options reflect the same domiciles of the airlines we simulate. Changing your airline or crew base is possible anytime, if you desire, via your pilot profile settings on the website.
Which aircraft may I fly?
Members are permitted to fly all aircraft types from day one. Aircraft must only be flown on routes they can realistically complete with adequate fuel reserves.
How do schedule assignments work?
When you first register here, you choose an airline and crew base... On the 1st day of each month, the system will automatically generate you a schedule from your crew base. This schedule is not mandatory to fly, just a suggestion. A "free flight" style is also permitted with any of our airlines by using the schedule search, or by creating your own flight via the dispatch center.
Type Rating Specific Schedules?
By default, schedule assignments will feature a mixture of aircraft and routes from short haul to long haul with your selected airline. If you prefer to fly a specific aircraft type only, it is possible to have your schedule generate with one specific type of airline/aircraft upon request to info@virtual-atp.net. For example, you could be a dedicated United B777 pilot, a British Airways A350 pilot, a JetBlue A320 Pilot, etc...
Virtual ATP airline?
Virtual ATP is our default airline that has over 180 aircraft types to choose from. Every aircraft is supported by SimBrief and may be flown on your own custom flights using the "Dispatch Center".
Which simulator can I use?
Virtual ATP fully supports Microsoft Flight Simulator, FS9, FSX, Prepar3d, and X-Plane.
